How do I use a .bsg file?

4 cilinder Shrapnel engine

Something I wanted to do, just because I like the sound of it :P

Anyways, 90 degree firing etc.

Added a gigantic flywheel to it, to make it run smooth but it'll run without it too.
As in, I cannot limit the firepower of the cannons so they WILL make the gear jump teeth, and then the timings won't be right anymore, but it will run.

Instructions: Y to start engine, it'll work by itself, give a nudge to the flywheel clockwise.

Also, this engine features the piston design Roycehellion made, so a big thanks to him! (seriously though, the suspension I used to use had way too much drag, and my better design was way too large)

This is goofy as hell, i love it! I did the cannon piston too. I made one called linear cannon to test it out. The problem with cannons is they push too fast. to compensate a spring behind the piston to absorb the force and then release it slower helps, but htis runs pretty well without it.

For some more inspiration check out some of Brook's designs, he is a better builder than me in many ways

he;s one of my favorite builders, you as well now.

Like I said in the description, the flywheel takes the shock and sends it evenly to the flamethrowers so they don't shake like a bastard

The fly wheel doesnt absorb shock, its job is to keep momentum. The springs will absorb shock and release it slower. This engine does well without it though. it okay do better but i havent tried it. ;)

The flywheel is there to keep the balance in this creation, like i said, without the flywheel it's going to skip gears

Yeah, it keeps the momentum, otherwise it skips gears bc the force is delivered too fast through the pistons. ;)
