Very nice looking engine. I cant speak for its actual power bc at that RPM you can see that the valves do not actually block the steam. They block some, but not much. Thats why using an ignition system is better than a valve system at higher steam power. :D

Still, very good looking!

I just checked, some steam is leaking, but a much bigger part is blocked

Its still better to use ignitions in general for a basic two stroke. The water makes so little power compared to the steam. You can see evidence of this based on your RPM.

Valved is stronger but in the end everything depends on placement and style of the build

True. The 1 stroke engine i have is steam all the time, but uses the pressure in both directions. I stole the idea from bunnybunnyrun, but even he wasnt the first to use it. Its the best setup right now.
