How do I use a .bsg file?

The Red Whale

uploaded by Kenny1999 11 months ago

The Red Whale is inspired by many Steampunk airships and many of the 18th Century legends. Airships were exist during 1800s to 1900s, and few are until now. Don't Google this because it is my design and fictional name. It is basically a red colored USS Constitution like ship hull with a zeppelin frame and envelope.

The hull is based on 18th Century warships. Clippers, brigs, frigates and galleons are the inspirations for this airship. The hull is inspired from USS Constitution, a 1812 American frigate with 46 guns. This one is painted red, and has smaller amount of guns.

The whole ship is mainly inspired by another fantasy airship, Caspartine. Caspartine is an electrical powered airship from the movie "Stardust'' directed by Matthew Vaughn.

The zeppelin envelope is inspired from Zeppelin NT. Zeppelin NT was the latest zeppelin produced by the German Zeppelin Company. The same company who built Graf Zeppelin and Hindenburg. Goodyear was the first one who ordered Zeppelin NT. It has 3 fins at the back, and 120 degrees apart.

The envelope has a cream color to show the old mood of the ship. White isn't the color for ship's sails, real ships sails are cream instead of white for some reason because they are old, or maybe they are cream from the start.

instead of invisible flying blocks for steering, I use real mechanic for steering. But there's no such thing as gas pressure for lifting in Besiege, so I still use invisible flying blocks to pretend as gas lifting.

Rope is used to attach the ship hull with the zeppelin envelope, if rope isn't attached the hull will fall.

All screenshots are photoshoped to look like old sketches, parchment paper photos, and fancy fonts, are to add the fantasy and the old times mood to the whole Steam page, not to hide the true colors of the machine. You can always unsubscribe if you are not convenient with the machine.
