Thanks ^^ "Movie Maker" -outdated yet good enough for low-end videos

Nice! What do you edit your vids with to add the text?

I'm bad when it comes to moddeling but thanks ^^

Would be cooler if you can make the buttstock and the barrel. Good job dude! :D

This is pretty cool, I'll try to make a more realistic version on ABS but I wonder if it'll be effective considering we don't have hydraulics in this game :/

yup Duke engine :)
posted by Dzytizz 3 months ago on 12 Piston Radial-ish Engine
Oh yeah, that's the word I was looking for with saying "radial-ish" lol. Complexity wise (atleast by amount of parts) Duke is way better tho. Thanks ^^
posted by oziboy 3 months ago on 12 Piston Radial-ish Engine
These are cool but they're more leaned towards a DUKE-style engine

Except, you used a different way to transfer up-down motion to circular

Not sure which one is more efficient but I like this variant! Well done!

Interesting, didn't even know you could do that!

Looks pretty good!

And gears are toggleable (press once to engage, and second time to shut off). Lockers are binded to L key. ^^

P.S. Controls:
Up/down arrow key - increase/decrease speed.
Left/Right - steering.
N/M - increase/decrease freewheel slipage.

P.S. Will upload an idea with freewheels later

Wow! haven't seen this one yet!

This is so cool with emphasis on being realistic!

Hmm this sounds interesting, waiting for your upload now ^^

I'll write it down before i forget, attaching a torch to the crankshaft

This is not necessarily possible or useful for water cannons but it gives us the opportunity not having to use stupid braces in the crankshaft
Meaning higher rpm is possible

I already made a prototype but it's not worth uploading just yet, it's stable but misses firing 99% of the time

However, its peak speeds are definitely faster than any of my creations so far

I'm finding 2 pistons most efficient for now
posted by Dzytizz 4 months ago on "Messy Duo" 1 Stroke Cannon Engine
Thanks ^^ That's even better then

Indeed, it looks pretty damn cool :o

it has brought me to an idea, too!

yeah :/
posted by Dzytizz 4 months ago on 6x6 Off-Road Truck W/ Duo-Action Suspension
Yeah been there too, seems Besiege doesn't really like constant velocity joints, even if angle is right it tends to create random forces which screw around with suspensions most of the time heh
posted by oziboy 4 months ago on 6x6 Off-Road Truck W/ Duo-Action Suspension
I like to make my frames in such a manner that I can later go back and attach an engine when the time is ripe

Theres this thing I don't like that happens a lot though: when using enough torque, the suspension stiffens a LOT, which doesn't seem to be the case in your design as extreme as it is on mine
posted by Dzytizz 4 months ago on 6x6 Off-Road Truck W/ Duo-Action Suspension
Thanks. Actually I was kinda out of ideas what to built so I started strapping rear suspension first out of nowhere, just had an idea to use 2 seperate suspension pieces for each axis ^^ At first wasn't sure if I should even upload it because of it's bulkyness but managed to spend too much time ,didn't want to make it a waste heh
posted by oziboy 4 months ago on 6x6 Off-Road Truck W/ Duo-Action Suspension
This is cool but I believe it could have been slightly better using a rover-like suspension in regards to traction

This by itself is pretty damn good though, awesome!
